I am currently attending graduate school to obtain my M.A. in English Lit. as well as have a part-time job working at a senior living center. With that being said, I do not have an abundance of free time, but I also am not so busy that I never have a free moment.

I am not the skinniest girl in the world, but I am by no means a huge girl either. I have some meat on my bones and no matter how much weight I lose, I don't think that will change. However, I am trying to lose a bit of weight and would enjoy meeting someone who would be willing to help keep me motivated.

In my free time I enjoy cooking, reading, going on walks, fishing, kayaking, watching movies, and finding new bands to listen to. I have a cat and he is pretty entertaining if you have a laser. I plan on getting a dog within the next few years and am very much that girl who will notify someone a dog is near.

I am not here for hookups. I want to meet someone and see if there is a possible connection that can lead into a long term relationship. I have never been the type of girl who has never wanted kids or a family. In fact, that is one of the things I want most in life.

I don't go out to bars all the time, or really all that often at all. I would much rather have a nice dinner at home with a drink. I do go out once in a while, but not that often and especially do not think it is the place that I would ever try and meet someone.

Looking for someone who enjoys traveling and can handle an educated woman. I won't play dumb just to make someone feel better about themselves. After I finish my MA I will be applying for PhD programs. My number one pick for my PhD is Pitt, as I'd like to try and stay in the area for at least a few more years. As I mentioned before, I am not looking for hook ups so if that is what you want, you can just ignore my profile.

I am also looking for a guy that has a sense of humor, but knows when to be serious. I don't need to be romanced 24-7, even though that would be nice sometimes, and I don't need a man who is just looking to completely control his partner. I want a partnership, not an ownership.
At my apartment I have a one year old male tabby cat named Kovu. At my parents, we have one nine year old Gordon-doddle named Gordo, one ten year old tabby cat named Lilly, and one seven year old black cat named Salem.
I currently work at a senior living facility as a Resident Care Partner and Med. Tech. I am working here until I finish my MA in May. I also babysit a bit on the side for extra money.
